Donning Toxicity – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Hub Quest, Donning Toxicity. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to slay a Great Wroggi. You’ll find the location of both of the Great Wroggi highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I’ve hit a bit of a slump, and I’m looking for something to rekindle my creativity. Hmmm… Aha! yes, a Great Wroggi hide! Its vivid hues make for great inspiration, and there just so happens to be one in the area!
Monster Hunter Rise
Great Wroggi is a Bird Wyvern found in the Shrine Ruins, Flooded Forest, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Ice and Water elements.
Great Wroggi primarily attacks using its poison spit and breath. Both of these moves can be easily negated by carrying copious amounts of Antidotes with you during the fight. Using your wirebug dodges is another effective way to avoid these attacks. Take down the lesser Wroggi that will sometimes group up with the Great Wroggi to make your time taking it down a little easier. While High-Rank monsters have more Health and are more aggressive, you should have fought him enough by now to be very familiar with this fight.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Great Wroggi can include; Great Wroggi Hide +, Great Wroggi Brace +, King’s Beak, Toxin Sac, Monster Bone +, Bird Wyvern Gem, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.
