Hellfire – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 3-Star Hub Quest, Hellfire. We’re off to the Lava Caverns to hunt a Magnamalo. You’ll find the location of the Magnamalo highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
That dreadful Magnamalo has been spotted! Quick, Hunter, you must leap into action at once! We cannot allow it to feed on the hordes or it may become too powerful to defeat! No time to waste! Hop to it-to it!
Monster Hunter Rise
Magnamalo is a Fanged Wyvern Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins, Frost Islands, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Water and Thunder elemental damage.
Magnamalo will charge itself with Hellfire during the battle, once it reaches its fully charged state it will perform a dash attack, leaving explosive clouds behind it. It can also gain the Hellfire status on individual areas of its body, attack these to extinguish the Hellfire.
Hellfireblight is a new status that Magnamalo can inflict, if you become afflicted by this, simply use one of your Wirebug jumps to get rid of it.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Magnamalo can include; Magnamalo Scale, Magnamalo Shell, Magnamalo Blade, Magnamalo Scute, Magnamalo Tail, Magna Ghostprism, Magnamalo Plate, Magnamalo Horn, and Wyvern Tear.
