Faceless Foe – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 3-Star Quest, Faceless Foe. We’re off to the Frost Islands to hunt a Khezu. You’ll find the location of the Khezu highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
Gross! There I was, taking a rest, when something wet dripped on my shoulder. I look up and – EW! Wrinkles, veins, and -ICK- a pale monster with no face that looks like a – * gag * Go hunt it PLEASE!
Monster Hunter Rise
Khezu is a Flying Wyvern Class Monster found in the Frost Islands and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Fire elemental damage.
Khezu attacks with Thunder and can cause Thunderblight, making it easier for the hunter to be stunned. While fighting a Khezu keep your eye on its tail, right before its large Thunder attacks, Khezu will plant its tail in the ground. If you see this then you know to dodge roll out of the way. Keep your distance when Khezu is using its Thunder attacks, getting stunned and hit with a Thunder attack can often prove fatal.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Khezu can include; Flabby Hide, Suspicious Fang, Pale Extract, Pale Bone, Electro Sac, Monster Bone M, and Wyvern Tear.
