Night Of The Khezu – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Hub Quest, Night Of The Khezu. We’re off to the Frost Islands to hunt a Khezu. You’ll find the location of the Khezu highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I was out fishing; everything dark and gloomy. When suddenly down flew a Khezu; slimy and gooey. Horrified to find there were no eyes that would twinkle, only a blubbery neck…veiny and wrinkled.
Monster Hunter Rise
Khezu is a Flying Wyvern Class Monster found in the Frost Islands and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Fire elemental damage.
Khezu inflicts tremendous damage with its Thunder-based attacks. Wearing armor with 20 or higher Thunder Resistance will help mitigate the damage and make you immune to Thunderblight. Thunderblight can make it so that the hunter is stunned more easily, if you get stunned you’ll likely be unable to dodge one of Khezu’s electrified jump attacks, which could prove fatal. When in a rage it can even do multiple of these in a row, so take care, and keep your Health High in this fight.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Khezu can include; Pearl Hide, Suspicious Fang +, Pale Extract, Pale Bone, Pale Steak, Thunder Sac, Monster Keenbone, Wyvern Gem, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.
