Screw Guide
The screw is a Miscellaneous item found in Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (FF8, FFVIII) it is used in weapon crafting for numerous weapons, and can be refined into Normal and Fast Ammo for Irvines Guns. Screws are typically obtained as a drop or steal (Mug) from the Geezard enemy in Final Fantasy VIII.
How to Find Screws in the Early Game
The earliest way to obtain Screws early is either from the Geezard enemies in Dollet or by using Card Mod on the Geezard card. If you play enough Triple Triad, you’ll likely have quite a few of these cards fairly early on.

How to find Screws as a Drop
Screws can be obtained from the Geezard enemy at any level as a drop.

How to Steal a Screw (Mug Ability)
Screw can also be obtained as a steal, using the Mug ability, against the Geezard enemy fought in the above-listed locations.
