The Sleeping Sylvan Queen Optional Quest Monster Hunter World
Our next optional quest is the Sleeping Sylvan Queen in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. We’re off to the Ancient Forest to hunt a High-Rank Rathian in this optional quest. To unlock this quest you’ll need to encounter a Rathian in a High-Rank quest or expedition, so keep that in mind if it’s not showing up for you.
A major change in the ecosystem is driving monsters from their natural habitats. Head to the Ancient Forest and begin your investigation of the invading Rathian immediately!
Monster Hunter World Iceborne
Rathian is weak against Dragon and Thunder elements, you should also focus your attacks on her head, wings, or tail. Rathian has the ability to inflict poison as well as fire blight if you get blasted by one of her fireballs, so bring antidotes and nullberries.
If you ever have trouble locating her, simply steal an egg from the nest at the top of the Ancient forest, she’ll find you pretty quickly by doing that.
