Walking On Eggshells – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 3-Star Quest, Walking On Eggshells. We’re off to the Sandy Plains to hunt a Kulu-Ya-Ku. You’ll find the location of the Kulu-Ya-Ku highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
Blasted Kulu-Ya-Ku always stealing my Wyvern Eggs! I’ve tried and tried to make my way through the Sandy Plains but they get the jump on me every single time!
Monster Hunter Rise
Kulu-Ya-Ku is a large Bird Wyvern found primarily in the Shrine Ruins, Sandy Plains, Flooded Forest, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Water, Thunder, Fire, Dragon, and Ice elements.
Kulu-Ya-Ku likes to dig things up to use in battle. If it digs up a pot, you can carry fighting it as normal, the pot will smash after a few hits. But, if it digs up a rock you’ll be unable to attack it head-on as your attacks will now bounce off of the rock it is carrying. Deal enough damage to one of its sides and it will drop the rock, allowing you to attack it head on again.
Carves, Drops and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Kulu-Ya-Ku can include; Kulu-Ya-Ku Scale, Kulu-Ya-Ku Hide, Kulu-Ya-Ku Plume, Kulu-Ya-Ku Beak, Monster Bone M, and Wyvern Tear.
