Streaking Shadow – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Quest, Streaking Shadow. We’re off to the Flooded Forest to hunt a Tobi-Kadachi. You’ll find the location of the Tobi-Kadachi highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I was out exploring in the Flooded Forest when suddenly, lightning struck. I looked to the sky and saw something zipping and zapping from tree to tree! I got away somehow, but others might not be so lucky- Please, do something!
Monster Hunter Rise
Tobi-Kadachi is a Fanged Wyvern Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Water, Fire, and Ice elemental damage.
Tobi-Kadachi attacks using Thunder-based attacks, it can also inflict the Thunderblight status effect, which makes it easier for the hunter to be stunned. It needs to charge itself up to be able to add Thunder element to its attacks though. You can short-circuit this by inflicting it with Waterblight. The best way to do this is to use some of the local endemic life in the Flooded Forest, specifically, you’ll want to find Mudbeetles, which can be thrown to inflict Waterblight on enemies.
Tobi-Kadachi is highly mobile so keep an eye on him at all times, and focus on hit and run attacks until you can knock him over.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Tobi-Kadachi can include; Tobi-Kadachi Pelt, Tobi-Kadachi Scale, Tobi-Kadachi Membrane, Tobi-Kadachi Claw, Tobi-Kadachi Electrode, Electro Sac, and Wyvern Tear.
