This quest rewards you with the Apothecary Mantle, a new Mantle that increases the speed that you will inflict status effects on monsters. This quest is unlocked after reaching level 6 Research Level for 7 different monsters.
Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the quest, Today's Special: Hunter Flambe. We're off to hunt a Deviljho in the Ancient Forest. You'll unlock this quest after completing the Special Assignment: The Food Chain Dominator and after you've found the Pink Rathian in the storyline quests.

This time we're off to the Elder's Recess to hunt both a Teostra and Lunastra together. This quest also rewards you with the powerful Temporal Mantle when completed.
Our next Special Assignment is the quest, Pandora's Arena. This quest unlocks a new Elder Dragon for us to face, Lunastra. It is part of a chain of quests that began with The Blazing Sun. Once you have completed that quest, head back to speak to the Huntsman in Astera. You'll be able to get this quest from the Blacksmith at Seliana after you finish with the Huntsman. Speak to him to learn about a cornered Teostra that seems to be acting strangely in the arena.
