Third Wheel – Monster Hunter Rise

Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Quest, Third Wheel. We’re off to the Arena to hunt a Tetranadon and an Arzuros. Both monsters spawn in the Arena with you so you don’t need to worry about tracking them down.

“In the right corner, Arzuros! and in the left corner, Tetranadon!” Oh! You’re here too!? Uh… “In the middle, you!” How’s that? Yeah, uh, good luck! Hope you win!

Monster Hunter Rise

Tetranadon is weak to Thunder, Fire, and Ice elements. Arzuros is weak against Fire, Ice, and Thunder. They share the same elemental weaknesses so taking advantage of any of them wont disadvantage you in this fight.

You’ve fought both of these monsters by now so this shouldn’t pose any problem. Try to take out the Arzuros that spawns first as quickly as possible. Tetranadon wont spawn until about the 3 minute mark, so until then you have a chance to fight Arzuros solo. If you can’t defeat him fast enough, Tetranadon will spawn and you’ll need to take on both at the same time. Remember to use your Wyvern Riding and Wirebug attacks to help you stay on top during the fight.
