Up To Your Waste In The Waste Monster Hunter World Optional Quest

Our next optional quest in Monster Hunter World is Up To Your Waist In The Waste. This is a Jyuratodus slaying quest and is only unlocked when you encounter a Jyuratodus either out on an expedition or on another High-Rank Quest. If you’re having trouble unlocking it just keep checking the expedition monster list for the Wildspire waste after each quest. Eventually, Jyuratodus will show up as a monster there and you can go encounter it and unlock this quest.

Jyuratodus has 2 weaknesses one while it is covered in mud (weak to water element) and another when it has no mud on its body (weak to thunder element). Because of this I recommend bringing either a non-elemental weapon or a Dragon or Ice element weapon, as both of those are not weaknesses nor are they resisted by Jyuratodus.

You can use puddle pod ammo to quickly remove the mud from its body if you want to go that way as well.

While fighting you will want to aim for the head or tail of Jyuratodus, as those are its two weakest points. Its head, back, legs and tail are all able to be broken as well.
