Down ‘N’ Dirty – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 3-Star Hub Quest, Down ‘N’ Dirty. We’re off to the Sandy Plains to hunt an Almudron. You’ll find the location of the Almudron highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
Doggone Almudron! That thing came through the farm slingin’ its mud all over the dern place. Now there’s mud all over my dern crops. All in my dern house. Heck, even got mud in my dern pants! Well, least the Poogies is happy…
Monster Hunter Rise
Almudron is a Leviathan Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins, Sandy Plains, and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Fire, Ice, and Thunder elemental damage.
Its tail is the real issue in this fight, try to focus on breaking it as soon as possible. The mud it produces becomes dangerous when it turns Gold, so keep an eye out for the change in color and change your position if needed, so it doesn’t chip away at your health.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Almudron can include; Almudron Scale, Almudron Shell, Almudron Fin, Almudron Whisker, Almudron Tail, Golden Muck, Almudron Plate, Almudron Claw, and Wyvern Tear.
