Even Cute Things Have Fangs – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Hub Quest, Even Cute Things Have Fangs. We’re off to the Frost Islands to hunt a Lagombi. You’ll find the location of the Lagombi highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I have this Felyne friend, and she got all scared about some big fluffy bunny. But I don’t get it, ’cause bunnies are supposed to be cute! Can you go check it out so she’ll stop being such a scaredy-cat?
Monster Hunter Rise
Lagombi is a Fanged Beast class Monster found primarily in the Frost Islands. It is weak to both Fire and Thunder elements.
Lagombi attacks using snowballs and by sliding quickly around the area. You can disrupt its sliding by throwing a sonic bomb at it. This will cause it to topple and present an easy opportunity to inflict some damage. Other that that, this fight should be very straight-forward, as you’ve fought this monster a few times by now.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Lagombi can include; Lagombi Pelt +, Lagombi Plastron, Lagombi Frozenclaw, Stoutbone, Beast Gem, Lagombi Ear +, Beast Tear, and Large Beast Tear.
