Monster Hunter Rise

Great Izuchi

Great Izuchi is a large Bird Wyvern found primarily in the Shrine Ruins and Frost Islands. It is weak to Water, Thunder, Fire, and Ice elements.

Great Izuchi will be accompanied by a small group of smaller Izuchi monsters. Dispatch the smaller ones first and then focus your attacks on the Great Izuchi. His spinning tail attack leaves him open for a significant amount of damage if you avoid the strike and wait for him to become stuck. Stick with it and he’ll eventually fall, leaving only the Tetranadon to worry about.

Tetranadon

Tetranadon is a large Amphibian Monster found primarily in the Shrine Ruins, Frost Islands, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Thunder, Fire, and Ice elements.

When Tetranadon stands on his back legs and sticks out his belly, his attack power significantly increases. To counter this you can force him back to his four-legged form by focusing your attacks on his now protruding belly. His leaping attacks become quite dangerous in his two-legged form, so take extreme care.

Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Tetranadon can include; Tetranadon Hide +, Tetra Carapace +, Tetranadon Beak +, Torrent Sac, Stoutbone, Tetranadon Disc +, and Shiny Nacre.
